PFW | Print Me! - Lanvin Menswear FW14 Review

Mystery can be the best asset to a man. With a modest and toned down notion of style, silhouettes and shadow prints in Lanvin's AW14 collection at Paris Fashion Week introduced some of the most covetable pieces in prints.

There were jackets of almost every shape and fit - the panels of leather and fur were the most interesting. Collared shirts, tips and the innovative Lanvin accessories spelled out their theme in the collection: individualism.

The collection's play on a mix of nostalgic styles like the skinny ties, retro prints and zigzags underscore the lovely Lanvin Parisian quirkiness. For this brand, it's so important to pay attention to their bags and shoes too. They make nice luxe sneakers and stylish formal shoes. Anyway my favourite are the silhouette jumpers with the prints which remind me of the paper cut outs in Henri Matisse's Blue Nude II.
