To buy..

I've always never been good at saving money, I always overspend what I allow myself without even thinking. I spend everything in my wallet and when I have nothing in my wallet I visit the ATM, but I have almost nothing to show for my money because it's almost always on food or transport. I think I'll use this to remind myself what I am working every Tuesday night and Saturday for and save up for something to really spoil myself.

Saw this one recently and since it's 21st year with my friends and I. We all need (/really want) some formal wear and I think this is such a great set because it is something quite unique and different but at the same time sensible. It's a great stand out set.

BURBERRY trenchcoat
The classic trenchcoat. It offers such effortless style that never goes out of date. Can't wait, winter will be here soon :D

I forgot about two fragrances I really wanted, so here they are.

Viktor & Rolf spicebomb

Such an interesting and excellent scent. I love the name of this cologne and the muskyness is great for winter. Also, the ad campaign is great! The smell on paper may sound like it's your grandma's cooking recipe, but the spices give off a really well put together and balanced scent. I love the little hints of cinnamon and everything works well.

Thierry Mugler a men
This is the famous Angel fragrance but for men. This is less of a wintery cologne but... the ad is so awesome.

White Shirt from Dior Homme

My favourite white shirt in the world and probably forever. Every guy needs a white shirt and this one is great because the cutting is perfect for me and I don't know, I just like it a lot. It's buttons are also hidden. Lately I've been wearing shirts a lot, inside T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, alone, etc.

One of the most interesting pieces from Lonely Kids Club that caught my eye. The jumper comes in different colours but I think this one is particularly interesting and unique. 

Getting to know Lonely Kids Club

It's such an exciting thing to work with a label especially when it is based somewhere near you because you can really see it grow and develop. It's a great opportunity to work with Lonely Kids Club in Sydney and I met up with Warwick recently to get to know the brand better and also get some insight into future directions of the pieces and ideas. I picked out a few items - they're full of personality and character, and I can't wait to put together looks for it on the blog and LOOKBOOK.

I got a sneak peek of what will be released in summer. It's pretty cool. It might make you scream.

Equilibrium

It really sucks when you're lost but you know what you're supposed to do. I'm sure you know what I mean. I feel that I know I should be studying but I feel lost. I feel estranged from myself and feel estranged from what I'm supposed to do. Lost as in lost in the routine, not getting back on it. I want to return to my pre-week 4 self and be excellent again. I'll do my best.

I feel like I function best on routine but have the most fun spontaneously. I think that's natural for most people. We like stability but we also like surprises and excitement. But now even non-routine is getting routinely boring. Time to return to routineness. I'll do my best.

On face value, this is already the best semester for me, only 2 days of uni, assessment tasks relatively spread out yet I'm starting to struggle. I've been drawn away by all this free time which I didn't have before. It was better during the first half where I was more involved with other activities so I didn't have time to waste. Now that it's less busy has made me more busy doing things where there is no gain. Such inefficient use of time is shameful for an economics student x( haha.

Three Ties (Trinity, Eldridge & Christensen)

Hi there, lately I've been finding new methods of procrastinating and came across doing ties on Tumblr and started doing more research. I found three that I really liked and they're more interesting than the usual ones (like the half-Windsor), which can make it much more fun when you're attending special events but still cool for everyday. I went with the Trinity, Eldridge and Christensen knots. It's quite interesting to use these with dress shirts like this one from Givenchy :D

Trinity is more interesting up close because from afar it can resemble the Windsor. Eldridge is similar but I like this sort of overlapping texture more - although I feel that it's less wearable casually. Christensen makes an interesting pattern while retaining more sensibility than the other two.

I want a gold tie. I think that will help these show better.

LOOKBOOK | Crayons

Crayons is a fun look of matching colours. The palette of mainly red and black really packs a punch along with a lion necklace and bullet bracelet. I wish I had more crayons now. I like the clashes of prints in this look - it makes it more quirky and unique. It's like I've got different sets of crayons from Crayola, Faber-Castell and whatever other brands there are.

The closeness of a Burberry Trenchcoat

To a certain extent this item has become a joke among my friends and I - not in the sense that it's laughable or a joke in any derogatory sense, but a joke as in it's something we talk about out of nowhere and would just say that it's something we want. I think this item to us symbolises something greater than just an expensive trench coat but carries with it many meanings of friendship. But yeah, can you all buy me a Burberry trench coat? And we'll have a Burberry trench coat party. Say yes.
