DIESEL Black Gold
Streetwear with punk rock elements. SS16 for DIESEL Black Gold is about utilitarian themes with Italian rocker style. Structured leather jackets and embellishments are clearly for Only The Brave.

Fendi
Much more toned down this season. The focus is not on solely on visual appeal unlike the eye-catching Fendi monsters in past seasons. Instead, a feast for the eyes is in the diverse use of materials like suede and soft leather. Even so, the devil is in the details because although the bags are modest, they're all hiding something interesting and distinctive.

Salvatore Ferragamo
As Ferragamo shakes off its mature gentleman image, the label is keen to push out some more youthful and quirky pieces. With collaging and brighter colours, the label is boasting a different, more eccentric side. Ready-to-wear for Salvatore Ferragamo is welcoming, especially because they produce such classic but modern sneakers.

Marni
Marni is a strong player at Milan Fashion Week and this collection shows some of the easiest looks to add to any wardrobe. The label is a fan favourite because of its wearability and visual appeal towards the younger demo. A lighter blue shirt matched with a darker pair of trousers is an easy and stylish look. However, the collection is not so exciting except for Marni's SS knitwear and its retro wide-collar button-up shirts.

Gucci
Is this Gucci? The label has been making some very high-paced changes and choices recently, and it is hard to keep up. The choice of oriental florals is refreshing because it seems that the fashion industry cannot get enough of floral graphics, but the colour palette is not as appealing or strong as Gucci's previous collections. The revolution of Gucci was about its sex appeal and luxury. Although some labels manage to find solace in chaos, the lack of a clear overall theme did not help Gucci's SS16 collection nor did it translate to diversity in garments.
