NYFW | Boho of Tomorrow - Anna Sui SS14 Review

Anna Sui's SS14 collection at New York Fashion Week looked back beyond 'hipster' and went straight to hippie. The bohemian style of the collection was coloured by the elementals inspired by earth, water and fire. The show was mysterious with the backdrop and the pieces were so interesting with the fine tessellating prints. The intricate details, earthy tones and material worked cohesively for a great show. You can see all the runway photos here.

For SS I enjoy the more flowy and unstructured looks.

Mens: There were a few outfits. I think the best thing that would better suit everyday wear is the grey bomber jacket with the ocean blue print. I also think the three-quarter pants worked very well in this collection, I love the detailing and they were very cool and calm. The use of fur here was very natural and the garments looked VERY comfortable.

Womens: The accessories were perfect. They were detailed and on point for the carefree hippie look with the large butterflies and headbands. Boho is great for summer because it's just intricately beautiful and cool (temperature wise haha). This collection boasts some of the most beautifully printed and detailed summer dresses. The sewn on florals also give so much more texture and feel to the whole look.
